This trip has been very humbling seeing how the of the people of Nicaragua live everyday. It makes me realize that the issues that we endure in America aren’t actually problems. At the same time, I can also see that the locals in Nicaragua are truly happy with what they have.

To see the values of each family and how the children interacted is also very humbling because most kids are very mature and involved in how each family functions. Each child I encountered was willing to contribute to the success of their families.

Overall, this has been an amazing experience and opportunity to be able to serve the communities of Tola + Rivas, Nicaragua.
