Today was the first day of Service for OneWorld Health’s Honduras trip! The first clinic the volunteers started at was in a local town named Nueva Esperanza. Throughout the day the team worked together to provide consults, teeth extractions, and medication distribution. It was a day full of joy due to the excitement and energy from the kids who came in, and the hospitality of all the locals we served and who helped out. It was a great first day to start the trip and by the end of the day, we served a total of 135 patients! Can’t wait to meet everyone we will serve tomorrow.
