We are now halfway through our trip serving the locals in Honduras, and today we provided aid to those in Chorreritas! It was a bustling community as we got more than a hundred people within the first two hours. Today we realize how diverse a community is based on their medical and health needs. We had a lot more people with diabetes and children with neck pain which differs from what we’ve seen before. However, the one that touched everyone’s hearts the most was a young girl who came in with cerebral palsy. As mentioned by everyone she was a complete joy and instantly brought a smile to your face due to her smile and positivity. Our staff took no stops to accommodate her and her family, and provided such personal care to them. It was clear to see the way their hearts are connected through their practice of medicine. By the end of the day, we were able to serve a total of 204 patients which included 30 dental extractions! This clinic will be engrained in our hearts.
